Civil status data is necessary information to serve the settlement of up to 80% of administrative procedures when implementing the 2-level local government model. However, the implementation is stuck in many stages, from software, coordination between agencies, and staff skills. The authorities are urgently overcoming these shortcomings to ensure smooth operation of the system.
“Standards” and “regulations”: Understand correctly to compete and avoid risks

The Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations 2025, effective from January 1, 2026, not only clearly defines the legal boundaries between these two concepts but also creates a transparent legal framework for businesses and people to comply with and exploit effectively.
