Opening news of the training course on skills to welcome and serve tourists at homestay models in rural tourism and community tourism activities in 2025

On August 16, 2025, at Him Lam Plaza Shopping Center, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Training Course on skills to welcome and serve tourists at homestay models in rural tourism and community tourism activities in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Vang Thi Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of departments and units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Dien Bien province; leaders of the Dien Bien Community Development Fund.

The training course was attended by 34 trainees representing households and workers at homestays, rural tourism models, and destinations with potential for community tourism development in the area. Experts from the Asian Tourism Development Research Institute directly discussed and introduced the topics.

The training course has 4 main topics: Communication and behavior skills with tourists; Skills to welcome and serve tourists at homestay; Skills to guide tourists to visit and experience; Skills to operate homestay.
