
On July 11, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) coordinated with functional forces and fishermen to find the body of a missing child while swimming at Sam Son beach.
Previously, at around 8:25 a.m. on July 8, a tragic drowning accident occurred at Sam Son beach.
While swimming in the sea, due to the lifebuoy suddenly flipping over, two brothers, NTK (born in 2018) and NNM (born in 2019, residing in Binh Nguyen commune, Phu Tho province) were swept away by the waves.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the Sam Son Sea Rescue Team immediately deployed to respond. K. was brought ashore in time, given first aid on the spot and quickly transferred to the emergency hospital. However, M. was swept away by the waves and went missing.
After receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department coordinated with relevant forces and local fishermen to conduct a large-scale search. Many specialized vehicles such as canoes, fishing boats, underwater detection equipment, and professional diving teams were mobilized to search for the child.
After 4 days of searching, on the morning of July 11, M.'s body was found in the Me Island area (Thanh Hoa).
