Received 1,300 units of blood at the festival "Drops of Blood of Thanh Land"

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - This morning (July 18), at the 25B Conference Center (Hac Thanh Ward), the Thanh Hoa Provincial Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee organized the blood donation festival "Giọt hồng Xứ Thanh". This is one of the activities of the 13th "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood" program held in Thanh Hoa.

With the message "Every drop of blood given, a life remains", the program attracted more than 1,500 volunteers who are cadres, civil servants, armed forces, youth union members, workers from departments, branches, unions, provincial level; agencies, units, political , social, professional organizations; businesses in the province to register to participate in voluntary blood donation.

With a spirit of enthusiasm for the community and a desire to help people in need of blood, volunteers participating in voluntary blood donation consider blood donation not only an act of saving lives but also a joy and personal responsibility.

At the end of the blood donation session, the Organizing Committee received 1,300 additional units of blood for the blood bank, contributing to the treatment and emergency care of patients at hospitals.

Blood Donation Festival “Giọt hồng Xứ Thanh” is a practical and meaningful activity, aiming at the goal of promoting humanitarian blood donation, helping patients have more opportunities to be treated, especially in emergency cases. This activity not only provides a valuable source of blood but also spreads the spirit of mutual love and sharing in the community.

Previously, on the morning of July 17, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation opened the 13th "Red Journey", the Thanh Hoa Red Drops program in 2025 and honored outstanding blood donation groups, individuals, and families in 2025.
