Linda Pham and her teammates are training for the Asian U.20 Women's Qualifiers. Linda Pham's father and mother are both Vietnamese. She is a Vietnamese citizen, born and raised in the Netherlands.

Linda Pham was given the opportunity by the Vietnam Football Federation and coach Okiyama Masahiko to “test her abilities” to prove her ability. This female player is nearly 1.7 m tall and started playing football at the age of 6.

She currently plays for a club in the Netherlands as an attacking midfielder and striker. Despite her limited Vietnamese, Linda Pham quickly integrated thanks to the friendly and enthusiastic support of her teammates.

Her presence not only increases the options for the squad but also brings a new breeze and positive competitive atmosphere to the Vietnam U.20 women's team.

On the coaching staff side, head coach Okiyama Masahiko said he will test Linda Pham more through the training process.

He also talked about the preparation plan for the 2026 AFC U20 Women's Championship qualifiers: "The players are very determined, especially with important matches ahead against Kyrgyzstan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Having new faces like Linda Pham will help the team have more options and resilience.

In the coming days, the team will continue to train both physically and tactically, and conduct internal matches and training sessions to test the performance of each position. With a serious spirit, discipline and a desire to perform, the Vietnam U.20 women's team is aiming to pass the qualifying round to win a ticket to the 2026 AFC U.20 Women's Championship.
