The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council convened a meeting to review the situation of budget use and public investment.

On the morning of June 27, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation - Ho Chi Minh City People's Council informed about the 23rd session of the 10th term of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021-2026. The session is scheduled to take place on the morning of June 28, at Hall 272, 272 Vo Thi Sau, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3.

At the meeting, the HCMC People's Council will consider and approve the reports of the HCMC People's Committee on the situation of budget use and budget allocation in the first 6 months of 2025; the State financial report in 2024.

At the same time, consider deciding on the investment policy for the project of dredging, improving the environment, and building infrastructure of Van Thanh canal (Binh Thanh district); adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and in 2025, local budget capital sources.

The meeting also evaluated the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council in the 2021-2025 period; commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and many positive and effective contributions in the process of organizing the implementation of the role and functions of the People's Council in the 2021-2025 period.
