Cha Quang Hill is the place that marks the resounding victories of Company 759 of the Quang Binh Youth Volunteers who fought and steadfastly held their ground to successfully complete the task of ensuring the smooth flow of traffic on Route 12A during the resistance war against the US. Here, 8 youth volunteers of C759 worked, fought and heroically sacrificed on July 3, 1966 while on duty.

Next, comrade Truong Thi Mai visited, encouraged and gave gifts to policy families, poor households and children in difficult circumstances in Dan Hoa commune.
Here, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 200 Tet gifts to poor households, worth over 200 million VND; the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 200 gifts to workers and people in difficult circumstances in the area, each worth 1 million VND; the Vietnam Border Guard Command presented 2 gifts to Dan Hoa commune and Minh Hoa district, along with 100 gifts to children in the program "Adopted children of Border Guard Station, "Helping children go to school", each worth 1 million VND. The leaders of the Vietnam Children's Fund also presented 100 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to children in difficult circumstances in the area.
After visiting sovereignty marker 528 on the Vietnam-Laos border, comrade Truong Thi Mai and members of the delegation attended the launching ceremony of the Cha Lo International Border Gate Border Guard Station project.

The station is responsible for managing entry and exit for people passing through the border gate; coordinating with functional forces to inspect and supervise entry and exit activities of vehicles, luggage, import and export goods; managing and protecting security and order in the border gate area, on both sides of the border gate. The project was approved with a total investment of 25 billion VND with synchronous items, which will contribute to facilitating officers and soldiers in performing their tasks, improving operational efficiency, and building an increasingly strong border area.
Next, Comrade Truong Thi Mai and the delegation visited, presented gifts, and wished a Happy New Year to the officers and soldiers of the Cha Lo International Border Post. Here, Comrade Truong Thi Mai acknowledged and praised the heroic officers and soldiers of the Cha Lo International Border Post for their efforts to overcome difficulties, unite and strive, successfully complete the task of protecting territorial sovereignty and border security, participating in Party building and the political system, developing the socio-economy, caring for people's lives, and contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
