At the meeting, the two sides briefly informed about the main highlights of the activities in response to the requirement of streamlining the organization and apparatus in parallel with improving the quality of operations and applying AI technology in the production of press and media agencies. At the same time, the two sides also recognized the positive results in the coordination of information and propaganda activities in 2024.
Accordingly, the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center and the Guangxi Daily Media Group have maintained regular news exchanges on print and electronic platforms. The content focuses on promoting the Vietnam-China friendship and the socio -economic situation of Quang Ninh Province and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The two sides have maintained mutual information posting columns such as: The Media Center posts news articles provided by Guangxi Daily on the Guangxi page, Quang Ninh Print Newspaper and the Guangxi International section on Quang Ninh Electronic Newspaper; every week, the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center sends news articles to Guangxi Daily to post on the "Open Door" column; the exchange of working delegations is also maintained regularly... In 2024, the Guangxi Daily delegation visited and worked in Quang Ninh from April 27 to May 1 and the Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center visited and worked in Guangxi from November 6 to 10.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen The Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center and the delegation of Guangxi Daily Media Group agreed that strengthening coordination in information exchange, production of press and media products and cultural exchange activities would contribute to promoting the cooperative relationship between Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center and Guangxi Daily Media Group to become increasingly deeper and more substantial; helping to enhance understanding and further strengthen the friendship between the people of Quang Ninh - Guangxi in particular and Vietnam - China in general.
At the same time, the two sides agreed to continue to strengthen information exchange, produce joint press products and promote cultural exchanges in the coming time; strengthen cooperation, support training on technology, apply AI in the production of press and media works; maintain annual delegation exchanges to promote cooperation, learning, and sharing of experiences in professional expertise and press and media. In particular, a joint working group will be established between the two sides to promote effective cooperation.
