Prime Minister to attend World Economic Forum in China

At the invitation of Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang and Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 15th Annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China and work in China from June 24-27.

The official announcement on June 18 said that with the theme “Next Growth Areas”, this year’s annual forum is expected to have the participation of 1,600 delegates including government officials, business people, scholars and representatives of international organizations.

According to Chinese officials, this year's forum will promote partnerships and innovative solutions to help restore the global economy, as well as create a unified vision for development.

The conference will discuss six main topics including the global new economy, China and the world, entrepreneurship in the age of artificial intelligence, new industrial sectors, investing in people, and the connection between climate, nature and energy.
