Master of Law Degree of Vice President of Kinh Bac University Revoked

TPO - On February 12, the Rector of the University of Law (Hue University) issued Decision No. 35 on revoking and canceling the master's degree in Economic Law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy, Vice Rector of Kinh Bac University. According to the decision, Ms. Thuy must return her master's degree to the University of Law (Hue University) within 30 days from the effective date of the decision.

TPO - On February 12, the Rector of the University of Law ( Hue University) issued Decision No. 35 on revoking and canceling the master's degree in Economic Law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy, Vice Rector of Kinh Bac University. According to the decision, Ms. Thuy must return her master's degree to the University of Law (Hue University) within 30 days from the effective date of the decision.

Specifically, based on the minutes of the meeting on January 9, regarding the revocation and cancellation of the master's degree in Economic Law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy (born in 1958 in Thai Binh ), at the request of the Head of the Training Department and Head of the Student Affairs Department, University of Law (Hue University), the Rector of the University of Law (Hue University) decided to revoke and cancel the master's degree in Economic Law of Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy, trained at the University of Law (Hue University). The reason is that Hue University has canceled the 2021 Master's degree in Economic Law admission for Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy.

Based on the above decision, Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy is responsible for returning her master's degree to the University of Law (Hue University) within 30 days from the effective date of the decision.

Previously, Hue University Director Le Anh Phuong decided to cancel the decision to recognize Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy's admission to the Master's program in Economic Law. The reason for canceling the admission result was that Ms. Thuy used an invalid diploma and certificate, which was revoked by the training institution that issued the diploma according to Decision No. 6267 dated November 15, 2024 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, when participating in the first round of graduate admission in 2021 at Hue University.

Regarding Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy's education, in 2000, she was recognized as a graduate and awarded a bachelor's degree in Literature. However, after checking and verifying, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities determined that Ms. Thuy did not meet the requirements to take the university entrance exam according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 4 of the Regulations on admission to the regular training system of universities and colleges, issued under Decision No. 461 dated February 11, 1991 of the Minister of Education and Training.
