Tam Quang commune currently has 10 households growing watermelon. Households have been growing watermelon since 2020 to replace drought-resistant crops. The pioneers in growing watermelon are Tong Van Chien and Nguyen Dinh Tu... Mr. Quang Van Mao - Vice Chairman of Tam Quang commune People's Committee said that all households grow organically, ensuring clean products and mainly serving people in the area... In the 2024 crop, watermelon fields in Tam Quang commune yielded sweet fruit. People harvested right when the weather was extremely hot, so traders bought as soon as they picked. "Many customers placed orders by phone or via social networks, and they were mostly regular customers. This year's watermelons averaged about 2.5 kg/fruit.
