Candidates in Son La take exams by ambulance after appendectomy

LVV (born in 2007) was taken by ambulance to the high school graduation exam site less than a day after the appendectomy.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on June 25, V. was taken by her family to Cuoc Song General Hospital ( Son La City) with a stomachache.

LVV candidates in Son La were taken to the exam room by ambulance.

After examination, the doctors diagnosed the child with appendicitis and performed surgery at 3:30 p.m. the same day.

Even though it had been less than 24 hours since the surgery, on the morning of June 26, V. was still determined to take the exam. Seeing that her health was stable, the hospital arranged an ambulance and medical team to take her to the exam site at Tong Lenh High School, nearly 30km from the hospital.

A representative of the Departmentof Education and Training of Son La province said that as soon as they received the information, the examination board coordinated with the family and medical facilities to ensure exam conditions for V.
