Confirm admission online before August 30
From today (August 25), admitted candidates will begin to confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's common system. The first round of online admission confirmation will last until 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
Although the Ministry of Education and Training has set a general time for online admission confirmation, candidates should pay attention to the admission information of each school because each school will have its own deadline between August 25 and 30.

For example, at the Banking Academy, candidates confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system. The Academy organizes admission for new students on August 27, 28, and 29.
The school notes that once admission is confirmed, candidates will not be able to cancel their admission confirmation. Only after admission is confirmed will candidates be officially admitted and prepare to complete admission procedures.
Candidates admitted to Hanoi National University of Education must confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system before 5:00 p.m. on August 26. After 5:00 p.m. on August 26, if the candidate has not confirmed their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, they will not be able to enroll online on the school's system. Hanoi National University of Education said that for candidates who do not enroll within the prescribed time limit, without a valid reason, it will be considered as a refusal to enroll and the school has the right to not accept them.
At the Women's Academy, after confirming admission on the Ministry's common system, candidates can enroll online on the school's system and in person from today (August 25) until before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
Avoid high scores but still fail
To ensure equal rights for all candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training requires schools not to require candidates to complete admission procedures before August 30.
After the first round, from September 1, schools will launch a supplementary admission round, lasting until the end of December 2025. However, only candidates who have not confirmed their admission will be able to participate in these rounds. If confirmed, candidates will not be able to withdraw for further admission, unless the school approves their withdrawal for special reasons.
Experts warn that many candidates, after being admitted, find that their major is not suitable, but do not anticipate that they will not be considered for additional study. Therefore, they should consider carefully before confirming their admission.
MSc. Pham Doan Nguyen - Vice Principal of Hoa Sen University noted that candidates who passed the first round of admission need to confirm their admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system and complete the procedures at the university according to regulations.

For candidates who are admitted to a major that is not what they initially wanted but is a major that is close, has job prospects and is suitable for their abilities, Master Pham Doan Nguyen advises: "Candidates should enroll immediately, without waiting for additional admission."
On the contrary, if admitted to a major that is completely unsuitable, lacking in qualities and with few career opportunities, candidates can consider participating in additional recruitment.
However, according to Master Pham Doan Nguyen, the reality shows that the additional admission quotas at schools are often very small, and some schools even have none left. In addition, the admission scores will certainly be equal to or higher than the first round.
Therefore, candidates need to carefully study the time, criteria and admission methods to avoid the situation of high scores but still failing. In 2025, Hoa Sen University announced to receive additional admission applications for 31 majors in all admission methods, the deadline for receiving applications is September 10.
