According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, after checking and knowing that they have been admitted to public grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year, students need to do the following:
From June 26 to 4:00 p.m. July 1: Candidates admitted to grade 10 will confirm their enrollment online at: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn
From July 3 to 10: Students complete admission procedures directly at the high school that has been previously confirmed through the online system. If parents and students do not complete admission procedures, they will be considered removed from the admission list.
Expected July 11: Department of Education and Training will announce the review results.
From July 12 to 14: Additional consideration of successful candidates after review.
From July 15 to 5:00 p.m. on July 17 at the latest: Students submit their admission application after review.
According to the 2025 10th grade entrance score table just announced by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the high school with the highest score in the city is not Nguyen Thuong Hien High School, Tan Binh District like every year, but Tran Dai Nghia Secondary - High School, District 1, with 24.5 points.
This is a new school that separated from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted in 2024, and is also the school with the highest competition rate in this year's 10th grade entrance exam season.
Conditions for admission to grade 10, third choice?
On the evening of June 26, right after the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the admission scores for public 10th grade, some parents asked Tuoi Tre Online : "My child's exam score is equal to the admission score for the third choice that my child registered for. Is that considered admission? Or do I have to wait for the student to confirm admission for the first and second choices?"
A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training replied: The standard score for grade 10 is calculated by the total score of three subjects: literature, math, and foreign language, plus priority and incentive points (if any). Students take their total exam score and compare it with the standard score of the three choices they have registered for. The passing score in any choice is the admission score for that choice.
