This morning (July 21), the Admissions Council of the International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores (floor scores) for training programs according to the admission methods using the results of the competency assessment exam (method 2) and the results of the high school graduation exam (method 3).
In which, the minimum score for English language majors (programs with degrees granted by International Universities and programs in collaboration with foreign universities) is calculated on a 40-point scale (English subject scores are multiplied by a coefficient of 2).
The minimum score for the business - management - economics group (programs with degrees granted by International University and programs in conjunction with foreign universities) is calculated on a 35-point scale (English score is multiplied by a coefficient of 1.5).
The minimum scores for the following majors: mathematics - information technology; life sciences and chemistry and engineering (programs with degrees granted by International University and programs in collaboration with foreign universities) are calculated on a 30-point scale.
The 2025 floor score of International University for methods 2 and 3 is as follows:
Previously, along with the Ho Chi Minh City National University system, the University of Natural Sciences announced the minimum admission score for 2025. For the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the minimum admission score for majors is from 16-24 points. For the method of considering competency assessment exam scores, the minimum admission score for majors is from 600-850 points. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology announced the threshold to ensure input quality (minimum admission score) for the comprehensive admission method is 50 points (on a 100-point scale).
Two other member universities also announced their expected admission threshold scores. The University of Information Technology expects the minimum score for considering high school graduation exam scores to be 22.5-24 and the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test score to be 700; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expects the admission threshold for considering high school graduation exam scores to be 18-20 and the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test score to be 620.
