Saudi Arabian media reported that the Saudi Pro League organizers will allow each team to register 10 foreign players and there will be no age limit from the 2025/26 season. This will create a great incentive for Saudi Arabian teams to attract the world's top stars.
Previously, the tournament had a maximum of seven foreign players in a team, which was later expanded to eight to encourage the presence of stars from around the world.
Last season, the Saudi Pro League organizers allowed each team to register eight non-Asian players and two foreign players under the age of 23.
