Tighten security at BlackPink's show in Hanoi

On July 28, speaking with reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Regiment of Hanoi City Police, said that, following the direction of the City Police Director, the police force has developed a plan to ensure security and order for the BlackPink show at My Dinh National Stadium.

On the side of the Mobile Police Regiment, the unit mobilized maximum forces to coordinate with other forces to deploy many plans to ensure security and safety for the event.

The entrance to BlackPink's performance night was fenced off to avoid jostling and pushing.

“The officers and soldiers were also instructed on possible bad situations to ensure the BlackPink show.

Along with that, we will set up moving barriers to minimize jostling and pushing. Traffic police will also be increased to regulate traffic,” Colonel Hung added.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hung, the authorities also increased surveillance at key locations, closely inspected and supervised participants to prevent disorderly behavior.

Hanoi is the last stop in Asia for BlackPink’s Born Pink global concert series. The show takes place on July 29 and 30 at My Dinh National Stadium.
