At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Finance reported on the review of the results of the classification of 100% state-owned enterprises in 2024 and the development of a production and business plan for 2025. Regarding the results of the classification of enterprises in 2024, the Department of Finance conducted financial supervision and evaluated the performance of 5 enterprises in the city, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Decree No. 87/2015/ND-CP.

Regarding the 2025 plan, based on the direction of the Government and the Ministry of Finance , the city sets a target of at least 8% revenue growth for state-owned enterprises. Some units such as Phong Dien Forestry One Member Co., Ltd., Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company... have developed feasible scenarios and committed to achieving the target. Some other units such as Hue Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., Nam Hoa Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. have proposed solutions to support the budget or adjust policies to achieve the growth target.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility and efforts to overcome difficulties of state-owned enterprises in recent times. Despite facing many challenges in input prices, production and business pressure, policy changes and difficulties in accessing capital, the units have proactively developed plans, flexibly adapted, maintained stable operations and ensured important growth targets.

The criteria for evaluating and classifying enterprises in the past have basically met the regulations. However, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong requested that units continue to carefully review and proactively detect bottlenecks and remaining problems to promptly and effectively resolve them, not to prolong them. It must be done quickly, neatly, and smoothly, creating conditions for enterprises to operate stably and develop.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that specialized agencies and State-owned enterprises continue to strive, proactively implement proposed solutions, focus on timely implementation of approved production and business plans, ensuring efficiency and suitability with reality.

Growth results are not only measured by numbers, but must also demonstrate the real contributions of each industry and field, including the key role of the state-owned economic enterprise sector. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong hopes that specialized agencies and state-owned enterprises, with a high sense of responsibility, will continue to accompany and remove difficulties for sustainable development.
