According to the Department of Health, on August 15 and 16, the foreign emergency system launched four 115 satellite emergency stations at Binh Duong General Hospital, Military Hospital 4, Ba Ria General Hospital and Vung Tau General Hospital.
The addition of more satellite stations in Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau is considered by the health sector as one of the urgent activities and will continue to be expanded in the coming time.

To improve the effectiveness of emergency care and people's health care, recently, the Department of Health has gradually standardized the coordination regulations between out-of-hospital and in-hospital emergency care, strengthening the connection between hospitals and the 115 emergency system.
The emergency response force is trained in a standardized approach and treatment according to the ABCDE priority problem according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM).

Currently, the 115 switchboard has been invested in and equipped with modern facilities. The 115 Emergency Center has deployed an emergency dispatch software system, which helps optimize the call reception process, analyze emergency situations in real time, and automatically dispatch ambulances to the most appropriate locations.
In addition, the 115 hotline also provides consultation and first aid instructions over the phone, both reassuring and helping people to do what they should do while waiting for the emergency team to arrive, and can even provide first aid instructions remotely.

The process of instructing on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid for choking on foreign objects, etc. via phone has contributed to saving the lives of many critically ill patients in recent times.
According to the plan, by the end of 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector will start construction of a new 115 Emergency Center at Tan Kien Specialized Medical Cluster.
