According to the People's Committee of La Bang Commune, the area has more than 400 hectares of tea, a famous raw material area with delicious tea products, meeting the standards of the 4-star One Commune One Product (OCOP) program. Mr. Duong Van Vuong, former Chairman of the People's Committee of La Bang Commune (old) said: tea is the economic spearhead of the commune, thanks to tea, people's lives have gradually improved, currently the poverty rate of the whole commune is only about 1.1%. However, to increase the value of products, the application of science, technology and e-commerce is extremely urgent.

Recently, the People's Committee of La Bang commune has piloted a training course on sustainable tea development with the support of the CHAGEE milk tea brand - from tea growing techniques, processing, labor safety, to sales skills via TikTok and online channels - opening up opportunities for people to access a larger market.

The training course had the participation of more than 150 people, mostly female farmers, young entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and businesses associated with local tea trees, helping them improve their competitiveness in the context of a market that changes every day - Duong Van Vuong said.

Farmers in difficult circumstances in La Bang ( Thai Nguyen ) receive support to eliminate temporary housing

During the training program on sustainable tea material development in La Bang held at the end of June 2025, the CHAGEE milk tea brand supported the construction of 2 new houses for disadvantaged households to benefit from the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister . As one of the families supported to build houses, Ms. Nguyen Thi Loi (60 years old), a worker at La Bang Cooperative, is in difficult circumstances, has been widowed for a long time, raising her children alone, and is also sick. Now that her daughter is working far away, she continues to raise her grandchildren.

In addition to supporting those in difficult circumstances to settle down, the program also donated a number of electric vehicles to transport agricultural products to local people - helping to improve conditions for tea production and transportation.
