Tay Ninh strengthens control of air quality

In order to ensure a clean living environment for people and serve sustainable socio-economic development, Tay Ninh province has synchronously deployed many solutions to control and monitor air quality throughout the area.

Air and noise measurements on traffic routes are carried out regularly.

According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province has currently installed and put into operation 5 automatic and continuous air monitoring stations.

These stations are connected and transmit data to the management system for monitoring, helping specialized agencies promptly grasp and handle when air quality shows signs of abnormality.

At the same time, the province has implemented a periodic air environment monitoring program at 104 locations in the area. The monitoring points are scientifically selected, representing many specific groups of areas such as industrial zones and clusters; densely populated areas; high-density traffic routes; solid waste treatment areas, etc.

This grouping helps to fully assess the impact of different emission sources on the air environment.

According to the latest monitoring results, the air quality in the province is generally stable. Most of the measured parameters at the locations are within the permissible limits according to national technical regulations on ambient air quality.

This is a positive signal, reflecting the effectiveness of environmental management measures, controlling gas emission sources, as well as the increasing awareness of people and businesses in environmental protection.

To maintain and improve air quality, Tay Ninh province continues to promote propaganda and mobilize people to implement emission reduction measures such as limiting open burning of garbage, using environmentally friendly means of transport, and planting trees in residential areas.

Enterprises, especially in the industrial production sector, are required to strictly comply with regulations on exhaust gas treatment before discharging into the environment.

In addition, the authorities will regularly maintain and upgrade the monitoring system; expand the network of monitoring stations in areas at high risk of pollution; apply information technology to publicize air quality data, helping people easily monitor and proactively protect their health.
