The delegation of Salavan province officials attending the training conference included officials working at the Propaganda Department; Government Committee; Department of Public Security; Department of Information, Culture and Tourism . These are officials who directly carry out public opinion work and refute wrong, hostile, and anti-Party and anti-State viewpoints on cyberspace in Salavan province.
This training conference will focus on exchanging experiences on the content of grasping, synthesizing, and researching public opinion; methods of combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints; experience in organizing and coordinating forces to fight on social networks; skills in designing infographics, images, and videos to propagate and spread positive information.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam informed that in the field of propaganda, the two provinces have regularly cooperated, exchanged contents on propaganda work, exchanged experiences in professional expertise, coordinated to effectively implement the high-level agreement between the two provinces of Quang Tri - Salavan, period 2023 - 2025 related to propaganda and education tasks; promoted the dissemination of the results of the implementation of the high-level agreement signed between the two provinces.
Organizing a training conference on public opinion work and refuting wrong, hostile, and anti-Party and anti-State views on social networks for Salavan provincial officials is also one of the contents and requirements agreed upon by the two sides at the meeting between the Salavan Provincial Propaganda Department and the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department in 2023.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam hopes that the knowledge and experience acquired and learned during this training and experience exchange will be the basis for Salavan provincial officials to apply to specific conditions in the process of performing tasks; further improve the quality and effectiveness of public opinion work; the work of combating, preventing and handling bad and toxic information, wrong and hostile viewpoints, and slandering the Party and State in the coming time.
At the same time, continue to strengthen and develop the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Quang Tri and Salavan provinces.

The training conference took place over two days, June 21 and 22. Within the framework of this training trip, on June 20, the delegation of Salavan province officials visited, learned and researched at the Quang Tri Province Smart Monitoring and Operation Center to gain more practical perspectives on the application of information technology, digital transformation in public opinion work and the task of fighting and refuting wrong, hostile and anti-Party and anti-State viewpoints in cyberspace.
