Dr Sven Ouzman from the University of Western Australia’s Faculty of Social Sciences and one of the principal investigators on the project said the kangaroo rock paintings will open up a deeper understanding of Australia’s Indigenous cultural history. It is important that the knowledge and stories of ancient Indigenous Australians are not lost, and that they continue to be shared with future generations. Photo: @University of Melbourne. Sven Ouzman also believes that this kangaroo rock painting also has great significance for Aboriginal people and Australians, and is an important part of Australian history.
