17,300-year-old Kangaroo Painting in Person

Older than the pyramids, this 2 meter long rock painting has stood the test of time. It is a living testament to the creativity of ancient people.

Dr Sven Ouzman from the University of Western Australia’s Faculty of Social Sciences and one of the principal investigators on the project said the kangaroo rock paintings will open up a deeper understanding of Australia’s Indigenous cultural history.
