Temporarily closing the Da Giang dike to serve the fishing ceremony and releasing flower lanterns on the Da River

In order to ensure traffic safety and security for the organization of the 2025 Lantern Festival on the Da River, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 1358/UBND-KTN on temporarily banning vehicles from traveling through the Da Giang dike road, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on June 23, 2025.

Accordingly, the temporarily banned road stretches from the Department of Industry and Trade to the AP Plaza Shopping Center. The road ban was implemented at the request of the Department of Construction to ensure space and safety for traditional ceremonies on the river.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Hoa Binh City to develop a traffic diversion plan, organize traffic guidance, and strictly handle acts of intentional violations and disorder during the ceremony.

Departments, branches and localities are required to urgently and widely inform cadres, civil servants, workers and people in the area in many forms to grasp and proactively implement.

The lantern-releasing ceremony is a spiritual activity associated with the folk beliefs of the river region, contributing to creating a highlight in the series of cultural and tourism events in the province in 2025.
