Many people believe that the formality, standard performance style and familiar revolutionary songs are difficult to attract modern audiences. However, in recent times, these programs - called "national concerts" by young people - have continuously created a ticket fever, attracting tens of thousands of audiences.
The "National Concert" Fatherland in the Heart, co-organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi People's Committee at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi) on August 10, attracted about 50,000 spectators.

In the first half of August, many "national concerts" took place, forming a series of special cultural and musical events such as: Fatherland in the heart, Proud to be Vietnamese, Hanoi - Since the historic autumn of 1945, V Concert - Radiant Vietnam... The series of upcoming programs that are also awaited by the audience are: 8Wonder 2025 (August 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center); Vietnam in me (August 26 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center); Forever Vietnam's aspiration (August 31 at the National Exhibition Center); What remains forever (September 2 at My Dinh National Stadium). The consecutive appearance of many "national concerts" at the same time has become a great festival of music praising love for the country.
The most notable point of the current "national concerts" is the change in the way they are organized. If in the past political music nights tended to have a solemn atmosphere, now most of them are elaborately staged with modern sound and lighting systems; the large-scale stage is not inferior to international music festivals.
The combination of traditional and modern elements creates a new experience: epic songs are given a "new look" when mixed with rock, rap, and contemporary folk; veteran artists stand on the same stage with young, trendy singers. It is this blend that has erased the generation gap, making young audiences find empathy in these programs. In addition, advanced stage technology turns each performance into a classy "show", satisfying both the ears and the eyes.
What makes the "national concert" so special is the community effect. When tens of thousands of spectators join in singing songs like Tien Buoc Duoc Quan Ky , Len Dang or Viet Nam Oi ..., the festival atmosphere turns into a bonding experience, arousing intense national pride. This is no longer simply a concert, but a place where the public can live together in meaningful moments, especially when the country is preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
