Abusing technology, turning users into second "machines"
With the rapid development of science and technology (S&T), AI has become a global phenomenon, comprehensively affecting human life, a measure of the level of creativity and application of S&T in each country and territory. In our country, AI is increasingly widely applied, contributing to changing the face of social life. No one denies the superiority of technology, but besides the outstanding utilities, social life and the working environment have appeared a very worrying situation. Some people, instead of considering AI as a support tool, have abandoned it, even "delirious" because of it, to the point of turning themselves into a second "machine".

At some recent conferences and events, there have been some laughable situations. Some people went up to the podium to speak, misread the data, expressed themselves in a stereotyped way, and read “like a machine”, making the audience really bored. The reason does not lie in the level of technology, but in the dependence. People with knowledge of technology can easily recognize that in those situations, the speech was drafted by AI. The speaker was lazy, dependent, did not research, did not edit, did not evaluate, and read as is. As a result, the speech became “machine language”, stereotyped, trite, far from reality; even had wrong arguments, deviated from the thesis...
The same situation exists in the press and media environment. The media public continuously discovers and points out elementary but equally harmful errors in some articles and media products produced by AI but lacking inspection and evaluation. There are some manuscripts that, when approached, the editor has to exclaim bitterly: "So embarrassing!". It is right to be embarrassed, because those are products written by AI. Articles reflecting on political events but "indifferently" describing the scene, describing the situation, "talking nonsense", as corny as a student's writing assignment, leading to lies, flattery in a crude way...
The author of this article witnessed a conference to contribute ideas to the draft political report to be submitted to the Party Congress in a locality. It was only for the locality, but the draft contained national-level content and targets that were far from reality and completely unfeasible. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the product was drafted by AI. And AI thinks mechanically. It relies on user commands to produce results, which are often just a jumble of pre-programmed language.
The excessive abuse to the point of abandonment and dependence on AI exposes a very worrying situation, which is a type of "frozen" thinking. In the process of Party building and rectification, studying political theory, thoroughly grasping and implementing resolutions, this type of "frozen" thinking is very harmful. Because when depending on AI, the subject does not want to think, is lazy to think, then products such as reports, speeches, even lesson plans, draft documents... are all "industrial goods". These are products that are only "read for the sake of reading", and have absolutely no effect in penetrating people's thoughts, souls, and hearts.
To be fair, the disease of laziness in learning, reading, and researching did not appear until AI appeared, but has existed for a long time. Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th tenure) clearly stated: A number of cadres and party members show signs of political ideological degradation, notably laziness in studying and researching political theory, fear of thinking, working perfunctorily, roughly, and ineffectively... The cause of this situation partly comes from a subjective, satisfied, and stagnant mentality. A number of cadres and party members, after being fully equipped with degrees, academic titles, and titles to serve the need for advancement, show a satisfied mindset, and in some cases, even suffer from the "communist hero" syndrome, becoming arrogant and complacent. General Secretary To Lam pointed out in the article "Lifelong Learning": A number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees are satisfied with the knowledge they have learned in schools, chasing after degrees, not willing to research and study regularly to improve their qualifications... leading to conservatism, not adapting to the fast pace of life in the era of science and technology...
In the context of the AI technology explosion, if officials who are already lazy to learn, lazy to read, lazy to research, now abuse AI, the danger will increase many times over. For young officials, when they do not have a solid theoretical foundation in their thinking, do not have a strong political will in their ideology, but abuse technology, they can only turn themselves into a second "machine", nothing more, nothing less.
Technology is just a tool. No matter how strongly it develops, how high it reaches, it will forever be just a tool. It absolutely cannot replace the thinking of the human brain; it absolutely does not carry the emotions of the human soul and heart. But with a lazy, ready-made lifestyle, many people have "deified" AI, seeing it as a "magic wand" that solves all tasks. The errors exposed to the public are just very small examples, everyone can see. As for the hidden errors, especially the state of erosion of thinking, soullessness, and apathy in handling and managing work... take place silently, making it very difficult for public opinion to "name and shame". And this is a manifestation of a form of ideological degradation. Because the foundation for forming the political and moral qualities of cadres and party members is absolutely not something that is "programmed", but requires a process of regular and continuous learning, training, and cultivation. It is not difficult to see that once thinking is "frozen", officials will only be "loudspeakers" reproducing the language of technology. The public is not only disappointed in their abilities but also loses faith in the commitment and responsibility of officials to real life...
Technology is not at fault, the fault lies with the user
Technology is not the cause of recession, but through it, it exposes the weakness in the capacity and thinking of a part of cadres and party members. Therefore, in the current environment of "digital literacy", it is necessary to clearly perceive and distinguish that AI is a tool, and humans are the deciding factors.
If we consider technology as a savior, we will fall into a dangerous trap, creativity will be replaced by stereotypes, initiative will be replaced by passivity. In the leadership, administration, management... of the political system at all levels; especially in the work of Party building and rectification, the abuse of AI will cause obvious consequences. At that time, documents and reports will become dry, trite, and not reflect the breath of reality. The statements of officials lack soul, do not inspire trust, and even cause negative reactions from public opinion. The ability to think critically and creatively - core requirements in leadership and management - is eroded every day.
In the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th tenure), our Party warned: The degradation of political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle of a number of cadres and party members, if not prevented, will lead to "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" with unpredictable dangers... Obviously, relying on technology is not only a bad habit but also has the potential to become a "gateway" leading to deeper degradation. If this situation spreads, we will face the risk of "technologizing thinking", work is solved by soulless copies of machines, instead of by human intelligence, vision, courage and emotion. This goes against the spirit that General Secretary To Lam emphasized in directing the party congresses at all levels, term 2025-2030: Documents must have vitality from practice, from the breath of social life.
Practice has proven that technology only shows its value when it is used by people with intelligence, ability, courage and responsibility. On the contrary, when officials are lazy and "outsource" everything to assistants, and assistants rely on technology, then both "teachers" and "students" lose their ability to think independently.
In the digital age, the application of technology is an inevitable trend. However, no technology can replace humans in the central role of leadership, management, and innovation. Relying on technology and disregarding thinking are manifestations of the decline that our Party has warned about...
