Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs pays tribute to veteran diplomats

The gratitude meeting took place on July 7 as part of a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Diplomatic Service (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Ngo Le Van expressed his deep gratitude for the silent but great contributions of veteran diplomats in the resistance war against the US to save the country, as well as in the process of carrying out foreign affairs tasks in peacetime. Deputy Minister Ngo Le Van hopes that comrades, with their enthusiasm and responsibility, will continue to contribute to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the people and the Vietnamese diplomatic sector.
