In recent days, the preparation atmosphere at schools and review classes in An Giang has been very urgent and serious. Many students expressed their confidence and readiness to conquer the exam. Dang Nhut Quang, a 12th grader at Long Xuyen High School, shared: “We have been oriented by teachers and familiarized with the new exam structure early, so we are not too worried. My friends and I have spent time reviewing thoroughly, especially the combined subjects. I believe that careful preparation will bring good results.”
In addition to reviewing knowledge, students are also equipped with test-taking skills and a stable mentality to cope with pressure. Many schools have organized psychological counseling sessions, providing guidance on effective time management and maintaining health during the final stages. “I spend most of my day reviewing my knowledge, especially the parts that have been adjusted in the new program. We also regularly do mock tests organized by the school and find more sample tests online to get used to time pressure and new types of questions. Mastering basic knowledge and practicing test-taking skills are extremely important,” added Nhut Quang.
Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy encouraged 12th grade students of Binh My High School before the exam.
Behind the efforts of the students is the tireless support of their parents. More than anyone else, they are the ones who understand the worries and pressures that their children are going through. Ms. Thu Uyen (living in My Xuyen ward, Long Xuyen city) confided: “My family always tries to create the best conditions for my child to study for the exam, from preparing nutritious meals to reminding him to go to bed on time. Seeing my child studying hard, I feel sorry for him, but I am also very proud. I hope he does well in the exam and achieves his wishes.”
Many other parents also expressed their confidence in their children's abilities and expected the exam to go smoothly. They believe that, regardless of the outcome, the efforts and experiences on this journey will be valuable assets for their children in the future. "To give my child more materials to self-study and improve his knowledge at home, I have also proactively sought out sample exam questions online. I have ordered 4 sets of sample exam questions with solutions, each set costs 200,000 VND, hoping to help my child consolidate his knowledge and get familiar with more types of questions," said Mr. Thanh Sang (residing in My Xuyen ward).
Regarding the province's preparations, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Quoc Khanh said that, according to the statistics reported by the schools, up to now, they have supported 925 candidates in difficult circumstances and 74 ethnic minority students participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, with a total cash amount of more than 205 million VND. In addition, the schools mobilized philanthropists and socio-political organizations to support lunch, cakes, drinks and a place to rest for candidates in need... to help them have time to review their lessons to prepare well for the exams.
Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung requested departments, branches and localities to proactively coordinate closely and make detailed plans for each stage, from securing exam papers, invigilation, grading, to ensuring facilities and equipment at exam sites... Localities have plans to provide maximum support for candidates, parents, invigilators, and grading teachers in terms of food, accommodation, transportation... to promptly resolve sudden and unexpected situations, so that the exam is truly a "big festival" for candidates. |
