Shakira dating ex-boyfriend

Shakira and lawyer Antonio de la Rúa had an intimate dinner in San Diego (USA), amid many rumors about the two reuniting after more than 15 years.

De la Rúa is the son of the former President of Argentina.

According to El Pais , Shakira brought her two sons, Milán and Sasha, to a date with Antonio de la Rúa, who was her boyfriend of 15 years ago. The meeting was also related to Shakira's career, as the two are working together.

The images, taken at a luxury restaurant in San Diego, show the Colombian singer looking quite happy and constantly smiling. According to LOC , Shakira re-teamed with Antonio de la Rúa in June, when he took on the singer's media, sponsorship and event management duties.

During a recent performance in early August, Shakira made a special surprise gesture to the Argentine businessman by performing Día de Enero, a romantic ballad she wrote for him in 2006.

The song was not part of her regular setlist and had not been sung live for nearly 20 years. The gesture led many to speculate that it was a romantic tribute to an ex-lover, sparking a series of rumors.

Regarding her relationship with Gerard Pique, Shakira completed the sale of one of the three houses she once owned with the former footballer in Esplugues de Llobregat, Catalonia. This house was the last piece of the housing complex that Shakira and Pique had bought with the intention of moving the singer's family to live in Spain, next to Pique's parents' house (his parents' house is not on the list of for sale).

However, the third house was never actually completed and is now on sale separately for €3 million. The other two properties are still for sale. The sale marks another step towards completely cutting ties with Piqué after their split in June 2022.
