VCN Khanh Hoa Investment Joint Stock Company donated medical equipment to Khanh Hoa General Hospital

On the evening of August 19, Dr. Nguyen Luong Ky - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital said that the hospital's Stroke Department had just received some medical equipment donated by VCN Khanh Hoa Investment Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the department was given 1 electrocardiogram machine and 1 patient monitor. The total value of the 2 machines is 100 million VND. The above equipment not only helps improve the treatment capacity of the medical team of the Stroke Department (which was established only 20 days ago); but also contributes to saving lives and providing better health care for patients.

The Stroke Department of Khanh Hoa General Hospital was established in early August 2025. The department is located on the 2nd floor, area E of the hospital with 20 beds. This is the first Stroke Department established in Khanh Hoa province. The department's staff includes 6 doctors, 4 nurses and 1 nursing assistant who are well-trained and have in-depth experience in the above field. The department's professional activities include: Diagnosis and treatment of acute stroke; use of thrombolytic drugs; cardiovascular intervention to remove blood clots; organizing rehabilitation and movement programs; counseling on lifestyle changes to prevent stroke recurrence; research and community education on stroke risks and prevention...
