Accordingly, the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector’s Traditional Day will take place on the morning of August 23 at the Hanoi Opera House. The event not only honors the great contributions of previous generations but also continues and promotes the glorious tradition of the sector.
At the meeting, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cao Le Tuan Anh gave an overview of the progress of the work serving the 80th Anniversary of the Cultural Sector’s Traditional Day. Leaders of relevant units presented reports on preparations for emulation and reward work, mockups, documentaries, art programs, photo exhibitions, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and efforts of the units that promptly and proactively implemented many important tasks to serve the Anniversary; including the arising tasks.
Regarding information and propaganda work, the Deputy Minister assessed that many quality articles about the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day have been published in the Cultural Newspaper and other press agencies . Thereby, creating a propaganda effect, affirming the sector's mark over the past 80 years.

Emphasizing that there is not much time left until the Anniversary, the Deputy Minister requested that units coordinate closely, promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and creativity in the process of performing tasks; focus on both content and form of organization to create a deep impression, affirming the role, position and contribution of the cultural sector to the development of the country.
The Deputy Minister requested that units within the Ministry actively participate in contributing ideas to develop and perfect the documentary film to be broadcast at the Anniversary Ceremony. The Deputy Minister emphasized that the documentary film must be both historical and have educational and extensive propaganda value, fully and truthfully reflecting the development path, achievements and great contributions of the Culture sector over the past 80 years.

Regarding the art program at the Anniversary Ceremony, the Deputy Minister requested that the program be elaborately staged, ensuring solemnity and historical significance, while also having artistic depth, creating a good impression.
Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation Tran Hai Van reports on the work of inviting international delegates.
The performances must demonstrate typicality, both honoring tradition and inspiring pride and aspiration for development of the Vietnamese cultural sector in the new period.
