Illegal villa in Binh Thuan will be demolished before September 10

On the morning of August 20, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Giap Ha Bac, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district ( Binh Thuan province) confirmed that he had issued a document directing the district's departments and offices to coordinate with Gia An commune to develop a plan to enforce and dismantle illegally built villas.

The villa built without permission was required to be demolished.

Previously, on March 15, 2022, through inspection, the District People's Committee discovered and administratively sanctioned Mr. CTS (residing in Hamlet 1, Gia An Commune) for the act of constructing a project without a construction permit.

The District People's Committee requires that within 90 days from the date of issuance of the decision on administrative sanctions, Mr. S must complete the application for a construction permit from the competent authority for the land area in accordance with the planning.

Although the deadline had expired, Mr. S still did not complete the construction permit application as prescribed. He also continued to build other items.

After that, Tanh Linh District People's Committee worked and requested the owner of the above construction to voluntarily dismantle the illegal construction.

However, the investor has not yet complied with the direction of the Chairman of the District People's Committee. In November 2022, the district continued to send an official dispatch urging Mr. S to voluntarily dismantle the illegal construction.

Up to now, the investor has not yet dismantled the illegal construction.

"Assign the Economic and Infrastructure Department to preside over and coordinate with the Justice Department, relevant agencies, and Gia An Commune People's Committee to develop a plan to enforce and dismantle Mr. CTS's illegal construction. Complete before September 10, 2024," the Chairman of Tanh Linh District directed.

Regarding the incident, on August 19, the Department of Construction of Binh Thuan province requested the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district to handle the responsibilities of organizations and individuals related to the above violations. The handling results will be reported to the Department of Construction before October 30, 2024.
