The officer enters the number into the system, checks the number of people in the household register, then confirms it with a personal signature. In just a few minutes, I have completed the procedure and received support money for 7 people in my family.”

Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh, address 8 La Thanh street, Giang Vo ward, Hanoi city shared: “At first, I thought I had to bring the ID cards of all family members. But in reality, with just the ID card of the head of the household, the staff quickly assisted me with the procedures. Within 30 minutes of arriving and waiting in line, I received enough support for 11 members of my family.”

Based on Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP dated August 29, 2025 of the Government, the Ministry of Finance coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to issue a document guiding localities to deploy gift giving to all citizens.

Factors to know to receive gifts

1. Receive money directly at the payment point (ward/commune headquarters)

Bring the household head's ID card (hard copy or electronic copy in the VNeID application - No need to bring ID cards of all members ). Officers at the People's Committee will use ID cards to look up personal information and the number of people in the household register from the national database.

2. Register to receive money via VNeID at home (via bank account or e-wallet)

Must have a level 2 VNeID account, personal information verified with the police agency

Perform:

Open VNeID app and log in to level 2 account.

Go to Social Security → select Social Security Account.

Select a linked bank or e-wallet (including many banks and wallets such as Viettel Money, VNPT Money, etc.).

Enter your bank account number or wallet, fill in personal information (Full name, date of birth, ID card, address...), confirm your consent to share data.

Submit information to complete. The system will confirm success and process the transfer to the linked account.

According to Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP, the recipients of the gifts include Vietnamese citizens and people of Vietnamese origin whose nationality has not been determined but have been granted an identity card, reside in Vietnam and have a personal identification number in the National Population Database, as of August 30, 2025.

Each citizen was given a gift worth 100,000 VND/person in cash.
