After the merger, cadres from Bac Lieu working in Ca Mau will receive support of more than 2 million VND/person/month.

On July 1, at the first session of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, term X, 2021-2026, delegates unanimously passed a resolution on the level of support for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Bac Lieu to work in Ca Mau due to the province's merger.

Accordingly, the housing rental support level is 1.2 million VND/person/month; travel support is 520 thousand VND/person/month; living support is 500 thousand VND/person/month (total support amount for 1 person/month is 2.22 million VND). The support period is 2 years (from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2027).

The subjects are cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who are receiving salaries from the state budget or from the revenue of public service units, with decisions on transfer and assignment of work from Bac Lieu province to Ca Mau province after the merger. Agencies, administrative units, Party agencies, socio -political organizations, mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State and public service units related to the arrangement, receipt and payment of support regimes according to regulations.

According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the total number of people expected to be supported is about 1,730 (of which nearly 800 people requested support for travel expenses), with an expected annual support budget of more than 27.7 billion VND.
