Convenient locations to watch parades and marches
The "golden" location to not miss any moment
To fully enjoy the majestic panorama of the Parade, choosing the right “viewing angle” is extremely important. Below is a detailed analysis of the 4 most highly rated observation areas.
Area around Ba Dinh Square: This is the “heart” of the event, where the most important ceremonies take place. The advantage of this location is that you can feel the solemn, sacred atmosphere and observe the formation at the closest distance. However, this area is only for invited delegates.
Nguyen Thai Hoc – Kim Ma Street: Known as the “people’s grandstand”, this straight and wide street is the ideal place to admire all the parade blocks passing by.
Cua Nam Intersection: This is a special highlight on the route. The moment the formation blocks move simultaneously at a bend creates an image full of art and discipline.
Hoan Kiem Lake area (Hang Khay – Trang Tien): This is the end point of the parade route, carrying a deep symbolic meaning. Watching the troops march towards the “heart” of the Capital brings an indescribable feeling of pride and emotion.
Note to residents:
Determine the location you want to see in advance and carefully study the walking route to reach it.
Each location has its own “specialty”, choose the place that suits your taste.
Be a civilized audience, maintain hygiene and order in public places.
How should people go to see the Synthesis?
Train – fast choice, direct connection
Currently, Hanoi has two urban railway lines in operation, both convenient for traveling to the areas where parades and marches pass through:
Cat Linh – Ha Dong Line: Departing from Yen Nghia station, suitable for people in old districts such as Chuong My, My Duc, Quoc Oai, and Ha Dong and Thanh Xuan districts.
Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station Line (currently operating to Thu Le Park): Convenient for people in old districts such as Ba Vi, Phuc Tho, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, and Nam – Bac Tu Liem districts.
Bus – various routes, direct to the center
Route 09A: Hoan Kiem Lake – Dien Bien Phu – Kim Ma – Cau Giay – Nguyen Hoang Ton.
Route 22A: Gia Lam Bus Station – Long Bien – Tran Phu – Kim Ma.
Route E09: Smart City Urban Area – Thang Long Avenue – Nguyen Thai Hoc – Hoang Dieu – Quan Thanh – West Lake.
Route 32: Giap Bat Bus Station – Le Duan – Tran Hung Dao – Kim Ma – Xuan Thuy – Nhon.
BRT route: Yen Nghia bus station – Le Trong Tan – Le Van Luong – Giang Vo – Kim Ma.
These routes all pass through or stop near Nguyen Thai Hoc - Kim Ma - Tran Phu - Hoang Dieu streets, where the parade takes place.
List of nearly 200 parking spots serving people watching parades and marches
To serve the people and tourists attending the series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Hanoi has arranged nearly 200 vehicle parking lots in the area.
To solve the problem of personal vehicles for tens of thousands of people attending the parade, the Hanoi People's Committee has directed relevant units to arrange a widespread system of parking lots. These lots are reasonably distributed in 6 old districts such as: Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Tay Ho, Cau Giay and Hai Ba Trung, forming a parking belt surrounding the event area.
Specifically, parking lots are prioritized in places with large spaces that do not affect traffic. In old districts such as Ba Dinh, the largest parking lots are Quan Ngua Sports Palace and along Van Cao Street. In Dong Da District, people can park along Hoang Cau, Huynh Thuc Khang, and Nguyen Chi Thanh Streets. Hoan Kiem District arranges parking lots under Chuong Duong Bridge and on the sidewalks of Tran Nhat Duat and Phung Hung Streets.
Below is a detailed list of parking spots, people can track the spots closest to their travel area.

Suggestions for moving out in 4 directions quickly and safely
Getting out of the Ba Dinh area after the event will be very crowded. Knowing the exit routes in all four directions will help you move more safely and quickly.
It is expected that when the parade ends at noon on September 2, tens of thousands of people will leave at the same time, creating huge pressure on the traffic infrastructure. To avoid congestion, planning the exit route in advance is extremely necessary.
To the West (Cau Giay, Tu Liem): From Nguyen Thai Hoc and Kim Ma streets, people should move straight to Lieu Giai and Dao Tan streets to get to the parking lots or go to Nguyen Chi Thanh street to catch the bus.
To the South (Dong Da, Thanh Xuan): From Cat Linh and Ton Duc Thang streets, people should move in one direction to the intersection of O Cho Dua and Xa Dan.
To the East (Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung): From the intersection of Cua Nam and Hang Bong, people can move towards Hanoi Railway Station (Le Duan Street) or spread out to small streets in the Old Quarter.
To the North (Ba Dinh, Tay Ho): From Doc Lap and Hoang Van Thu streets, people should move to Thuy Khue and Quan Thanh streets (the part that is not prohibited).
Always update Gate A80 and digital map directions at the following link: https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn/ban-do.htm
Note:
Don’t rush out as soon as the event ends. You can stay for 15-20 minutes to let the crowd thin out.
Agree on a specific meeting place with family and friends in advance in case you get separated.
Always walk on the sidewalk or in the pedestrian crossing.
