With the support of the Vietnam Trade Office in the UK and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, 10 textile and garment enterprises displayed unique garment and fashion accessory products at Source Fashion London, which took place from July 8-10 in London, attracting many British and international retailers.
Held twice a year in the world 's major fashion capital, Source Fashion London is Europe's largest textile fashion fair, bringing together Europe's leading fashion brands and retailers.
The event is also the UK's largest B2B (business-to-business) fashion trade show.
This year's fair brings together 350 businesses from around the world to display and introduce textile fashion products such as clothing, fabrics, yarns and fashion and garment accessories including scarves, hats, bags, glasses, jewelry, belts...

The fair also attracts thousands of visitors who are professional fashion buyers, small and medium-sized retailers, and fashion designers looking for manufacturers.
The Vietnamese booth displayed a variety of products, including dresses, shirts, suits, children's clothing, sportswear , workwear, uniforms and fashion accessories such as bags, hats, scarves..., attracting the attention of many British and international retailers, especially silk scarves and fashion accessories.
The event is an opportunity for Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to demonstrate their international standard production and design capacity, approach potential customers and build long-term trade relationships.

Mr. Le Dinh Ba, Commercial Counselor, Vietnam Trade Office in the UK, said that the Vietnam Trade Office in the UK organized a national booth at Source Fashion London to support small and medium-sized enterprises that are unable to attend directly to send products, designs and catalogues to display at the UK's leading B2B fashion trade exhibition.
Speaking to VNA reporters in the UK, Mr. Pietro Lessi, Director of Customer Relations, Source Fashion London Fair, said Source Fashion London is an ideal place for Vietnamese textile and garment manufacturers to explore export opportunities to Europe because the event brings together the entire fashion supply chain from fabrics, clothing to fashion accessories.
He said that attending the fair is an effective and cost-saving way to find partners and build long-term business relationships with fashion industry partners around the world.

Vietnamese textiles and garments are now gaining a certain position in the UK market. Vietnam is the UK’s sixth largest textile and garment supplier after China, Bangladesh, Italy, Türkiye and India.
Many “Made in Vietnam” products are available at major ready-to-wear fashion supermarket chains in the UK such as M&S, Next, Zara, Primak...
In 2024, Vietnam's exports of textiles and fashion accessories to the UK will reach about 920 million USD, an increase of 15% over the previous year.

However, according to Mr. Le Dinh Ba, with total import demand of up to 16.7 billion pounds (22.5 billion USD) for 2024, the UK textile and garment market still has a lot of room for Vietnamese export enterprises to exploit.
Mr. Le Dinh Ba hopes that organizing activities such as the national booth at Source Fashion London will attract the attention of domestic enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, to promote their products and find partners at major international trade events.
Mr. Pietro Lessi said that the demand for sourcing from Asia is increasing, pointing out that 68% of the UK fashion market is private label, so designers want to source directly from manufacturers. He hopes that the upcoming Source Fashion fairs will welcome more Vietnamese exporters./.
