HNX announced 72 stocks with margin cut in the third quarter of 2023

Recently, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) announced a list of securities that are not eligible for margin trading. Accordingly, there are 72 securities codes that are not eligible for margin trading in the third quarter of 2023, the total number has decreased by 5 codes compared to the number in the list announced at the beginning of the second quarter.

These are mainly familiar stocks that are under warning or control such as CJC, CVN, FID, KDM, KKC, MAC, MAS, MST, NDX, OCH, PCG, PEN, PGT, SD6, SDA, STP, SSM, VC9, VCM,...

In addition, the codes ART, DNM, DZM, KLF, MIM, MHL, SDT, TKC, TVC, VE2,... are also stocks subject to trading suspension or likely/already delisted and have their margin cut by HNX in the third quarter of 2023.

Some codes are also not allowed to trade on margin because the listing period is less than 6 months; the delay in publishing the audited semi-annual financial report for 2022 is more than 5 working days from the deadline for publishing information; the audit report has an exception; the 6-month after-tax profit in the audited semi-annual financial report for 2022 is a negative number,...

According to regulations, investors will not be allowed to use the credit limit (financial leverage - margin) provided by the brokerage securities company to buy 72 stocks that are classified in the list of securities not eligible for margin trading .
