According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Land Registration Office has handed over 441 field markers of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project to representatives of the People's Committees of districts and communes. Of which, Gia Loc district received 171 markers; Binh Giang 133 markers; Tu Ky 67 markers; Thanh Ha 44 markers, Cam Giang 26 markers.
The districts have completed the assignment of ownership (identification of land users) of 218.2 hectares, reaching 100% of the project implementation area. The land clearance boundary passes through a total of 4,583 plots, including: 4,047 plots of cultivated land; 536 plots of residential land.
The handover of boundary markers in site clearance and ownership transfer aims to determine, mark and hand over the boundaries of the land to be recovered, recognizing the legal ownership of the people to the land, assets on the land and other related rights.
This is an important basis for carrying out the next steps of the site clearance process, avoiding the situation where people build and plant crops in the area planned for site clearance.
The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project through Hai Duong province has a length of 40.96 km, passing through 5 districts: Cam Giang about 3.05 km, Binh Giang about 8.6 km, Gia Loc about 10.5 km, Tu Ky about 10.95 km and Thanh Ha about 7.86 km.
The project will build 3 railway stations in Hai Duong including: Binh Giang station in Hung Thang commune (Binh Giang); Hai Duong Nam station in Le Loi commune, Yet Kieu and Gia Loc town (Gia Loc); Tu Ky station, Chi Minh commune (Tu Ky).
