Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang requested communes and wards to mobilize all resources to complete the construction of the remaining houses.

At the conference, Mr. To Hoai Phuong, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, informed: The total number of poor and near-poor households benefiting from the program is 2,811 households. As of July 17, 2025, 2,346 houses have been completed, reaching 83.46% and 4 communes have completed 100% of the plan; 288 houses are being built, 177 houses have not yet started construction. According to the report of the People's Committees of the communes, there are 109 households that do not agree to receive support and are not eligible to build and repair houses.

To complete the proposed progress, Mr. To Hoai Phuong requested that communes and wards during the construction process must have technical teams to regularly inspect and supervise the quality of the project, promptly inform and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to support in removing difficulties.

At the conference, Mr. Duong Chi Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, informed: After reviewing the number of meritorious people receiving housing support including new construction and repair, it is 2,558 units. As of July 18, 2025, 718 new construction units have been completed, 863 units have been repaired, 857 units are under construction, and 113 units have not been accepted.

Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Duong Chi Binh proposed removing 113 households that did not agree to receive support for house construction from the implementation plan.

At the meeting, communes and wards reported on the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, and at the same time, pointed out some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation, as well as proposals and recommendations related to the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the direction, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang praised the units and localities for their determination to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, he requested that localities review whether there are any missing beneficiaries; speed up the progress of starting and constructing unfinished houses. For additional houses, it is necessary to review and ensure the correct beneficiaries. Regarding the payment and settlement procedures, the Department of Finance is requested to guide localities to follow the correct procedures, make payment to the correct beneficiaries, and complete the documents./.
