Samsung and Keppel apply smart technology to real estate sector

Samsung Vina Electronics Company and Keppel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to deploy smart technology solutions applied in the real estate sector in Vietnam.

Mr. Lee Chung Lyong, CEO and Chairman of Samsung Vina Electronics Company and Mr. Joseph Low, Chairman of Real Estate Division, Keppel Vietnam signed the cooperation agreement.

With this cooperation, Samsung and Keppel will jointly explore and promote the application of smart technology in the real estate sector in Vietnam, leveraging the combined strengths of the two businesses to bring innovative and sustainable solutions, contributing to improving the quality of life for residents and tenants.

“This partnership with Keppel enables us to introduce innovative and disruptive solutions at scale to the Vietnamese real estate market. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our technology and expertise to drive innovation and sustainable development, enhance the quality of life for our residents and tenants, and contribute to the development of the industry,” said Mr. Lee Chung Lyong.

Specifically, Keppel will join hands with Samsung to deploy the latest smart technology solutions at residential and commercial projects of Keppel and/or Keppel's affiliates in Vietnam. Samsung will provide its advanced technology, technical expertise, and extensive research and development capabilities to support Keppel's projects or Keppel's affiliates, including technical support, training, guidance, as well as manpower, equipment and machinery support for the feasibility study and project implementation process.

Mr. Joseph Low, President of Real Estate, Keppel Vietnam, said: “Keppel is delighted to partner with Samsung to bring smart technology solutions to its projects in Vietnam. This partnership will enhance Keppel’s real estate offerings, where we combine people, technology and processes powered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) to enhance the efficiency, sustainable performance and value of real estate projects. We also look forward to accompanying Samsung in the journey of exploring new technologies and techniques, thereby further strengthening the company’s smart and sustainable real estate solutions in Vietnam.”
