The agreement marks a step forward in the journey to access and master advanced ginseng cultivation technology from Korea - considered the "cradle of the world ginseng industry", to develop domestic raw material areas, gradually realizing the aspiration to popularize Vietnamese ginseng with a scientific foundation.

Proactively growing areas – Solving cost problems, paving the way for popularizing Vietnamese ginseng
Before joining hands with VGC, Thai Minh had developed a "7-step standard" ginseng growing area in Sin Ho, Lai Chau - an area with ideal natural conditions for the growth of precious native ginseng. However, the problem of expanding the scale, controlling the cost and realizing the dream of bringing precious ginseng to every home still has many challenges. The cooperation with VGC to expand the growing area to Lam Dong, where the farming model is systematically applied with Korean technology, shows Thai Minh's strategic move, gradually solving the problem of reducing altitude, lowering costs, expanding the area and "popularizing" Vietnamese ginseng.

VGC currently owns a high-tech ginseng growing model in Lam Dong, built according to Korean standards, under the guidance of Prof. Nguyen Minh Duc - a leading scientist on ginseng, along with experts known as "big trees" in the field of ginseng research in Korea such as Professor Park Jeong-hill - Former President of the Korean Ginseng Association,... VGC has pioneered the application of modern technology to native ginseng varieties, creating a large-scale, high-yield, and reasonable-cost cultivation system - laying the foundation for the journey to bring precious ginseng to every home.
The project has been accompanied for more than 10 years by Professor Park Jeong-hill - Former President of the Korean Ginseng Association, who is considered a "giant tree" in the field of research and development of Asian ginseng.
This combination of Vietnamese and Korean knowledge has paved the way for a method of growing ginseng using advanced technology, strictly controlling microclimate, light, humidity and growth cycle factors, thereby maintaining a germination rate of over 90% and an average biomass of over 100 grams/root , indicators rarely seen in growing conditions outside the highlands.
Each ginseng root harvested in the garden has high biomass, reaching an average of over 100 grams per root.
The fact that Vietnamese ginseng grows well in lower lands not only breaks the traditional geographical limits, but also opens up a large space to expand the cultivation area, streamline transportation and control costs more effectively. This is the stepping stone to bring precious ginseng out of the highlands and into everyday life through quality, practical and accessible products.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Minh Pharmaceutical Group emphasized: "Thai Minh highly appreciates VGC's growing technology. Lowering the ginseng growing altitude to 1,400m - has been realized thanks to the cooperation of Korean scientists. Analysis of ginseng samples from this area shows that the MR2 active ingredient content exceeds 4% of the mass, a very impressive number. This helps us take a step forward in the strategy of reducing costs so that everyone, every household can use Vietnamese ginseng" .

The cooperation event between Thai Minh and VGC is not only a step forward in expanding the raw material area, but also demonstrates Thai Minh's pioneering and proactive role in the strategy of comprehensively developing the Vietnamese ginseng value chain - from research, development of growing areas, extraction to preparation of health care products imbued with national identity.

Professor Park Jeong-hill - Former President of the Korean Ginseng Association, an expert advisor in the project - expressed his confidence in the potential of Vietnamese ginseng: "I am sure that Vietnamese ginseng has a lot of potential in developing food and medicine among more than 13 ginseng species. Because the saponin ginsenoside content in Vietnamese ginseng is much higher than other ginseng species. I believe that Vietnamese ginseng is not only a national treasure, but also a world treasure ."
The professor deeply expects that the connection between Thai Minh - VGC and leading domestic scientists will create a sustainable ecosystem for the Vietnamese ginseng industry in the future.
Few people think that Vietnamese ginseng can grow so well in a land that is not its native land.
VGC representative affirmed that cooperation with Thai Minh opens up opportunities to expand growing areas, improve productivity and economic efficiency.
