FPTU also rose in the rankings and was ranked in the Top 301-400 universities with the most comprehensive sustainable development impact in the world and maintained its position in the Top 101-200 in terms ofeducation quality ranking (SDG4), among more than 2,500 participating schools from hundreds of countries. This is the third consecutive year that FPTU has risen in the rankings after 4 years of participating in THE Impact Rankings.
Representative of THE Impact Rankings awarded the certificate of ranking results 301 - 400 out of more than 2,500 universities worldwide in 2025 to Mr. Le Truong Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University.
THE Impact Rankings assesses universities according to their performance in implementing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Of these, SDG8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) measures the effectiveness of universities in preparing students to enter the labor market - not just with degrees, but with the ability to adapt, do real work, succeed with the qualities and skills that meet the sustainable development of the earth. SDG4 (Quality of Education) measures the effectiveness of universities in implementing the goal of ensuring an inclusive, equitable, quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
With a ranking of 80 SDG8, FPTU is internationally recognized as one of the universities with leading capacity in practical training - creating real jobs, real quality for students in the era of globalization and digital transformation.

Training model linked to market, technology and startups
To achieve the position of Top 80 in the world in SDG8, FPTU always puts students at the center of its training strategy. The school constantly innovates its curriculum, updates it according to practical needs and social development trends, and implements support activities so that students can work for real, create real value and not be replaced by technology.
FPTU students are trained in a learning environment closely linked to businesses, professional practices and entrepreneurial spirit. From the third year, 100% of students participate in business internships (On-the-Job Training - OJT) under the guidance of industry mentors. In addition, the Personal Development Program (PDP) and community projects - such as supporting local digital transformation - help students gain a deep understanding of real-life social and economic operations.
FPTU students also participate in a short-term study abroad course (from 3-6 months) to experience and equip themselves with the necessary skills to be ready to go global.
With the orientation of helping students gain skills to create their own jobs, entrepreneurship at FPTU is an official learning path. From 2023, the school will integrate two compulsory courses "Startup Experience 1 and 2" into the last three semesters. Students with excellent projects will be recognized instead of their graduation projects and receive financial support. Playgrounds such as F-Shark, Student Showcase, FPT Biz Talent... create conditions for students to raise capital, debate and realize ideas, with the support of the school, entrepreneurs and investors.
In particular, FPTU has proactively integrated AI, data and digital transformation content into all training programs. Students not only learn how to use AI as a tool, but also practice critical thinking, adaptability and creativity - irreplaceable factors.
It is the practical training model - from internships, community to startups - that has helped FPTU achieve a rate of 98% of students having jobs after graduation, of which 19% are working in developed countries such as the US, UK, Germany, Japan, Canada...

Four years, three promotions - The journey to affirm global position
FPTU joined THE Impact Rankings in 2022 with an initial ranking of group 801+. Over the years, the school has continuously improved its position:
- 2022: Group 801 - 1000
- 2023 : Group 601 - 800
- 2024 : Group 401 - 600, Top 100-201 on SDG4
- 2025 : Group 301 - 400, ranked 80th in the world for SDG8, Top 100 - 201 for SDG4
