Sjourney - Experience the class of a Journey connecting Railways and Tourism

The “Journey connecting Railways and Tourism” trip welcomed many delegates and tourists to experience the luxury train with high-class services on June 15 and 16. The presence of leaders from three leading agencies: Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Railways Corporation and Hanoi Department of Tourism contributed to affirming the important role of railway tourism in the country's high-class tourism development strategy.

SJourney is the first luxury train travel model in Vietnam, offering a journey stretching from Hanoi and stopping at prominent destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Phu Yen, Phan Thiet and ending in Ho Chi Minh City. Inspired by the historic Indochina trains, SJourney wears a distinctive Indochine style - a fusion of elegant Asian features and romantic French spirit.

Phase 1 of the project has been completed with 5 sleeping cars and 1 restaurant car, initially setting a new standard for the train travel experience in Vietnam. Phase 2 is under construction, including 3 additional sleeping cars, 1 Lounge car and 1 full-glass car - promising to bring a unique 360-degree viewing space and enhance the passenger experience.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Nguyen Trung Khanh affirmed that Sjourney is a unique and potential tourism product. The Vietnam National Tourism Administration will continue to closely coordinate in communication and promotion of high-end railway tourism products on official platforms, contributing to spreading the image of classy, different and sustainable Vietnamese tourism to international friends.

It is known that in recent times, SJourney has made its mark through strategic cooperation activities with many leading domestic and foreign travel partners. The project has also attracted strong attention from the international investor community, demonstrating the true appeal of the luxury train tourism model in Vietnam. In particular, SJourney has successfully organized many charter trips to welcome European guests, contributing to affirming the professional operation and international expansion potential of this model.
