"Books never get old" - extending dreams

(Baohatinh.vn) - "Books are not old" is the name of a community project that has been maintained for the past 10 years, by enthusiastic young people at the BoNE Club of Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted.

Over the past 10 years, the “Never-Old Books” program of the BoNE Club, under the Youth Union of Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted, has become a familiar meeting place for book-loving students and contributed to spreading knowledge, inspiring learning, and nurturing the passion for reading for many generations of students. Moreover, this is also an opportunity to connect with young people who share the same interests, and spread positive things to the community.

Studying secrets to reach your dreams are shared at the program "Books are never old".

The destination of the 10th "Books are not old" journey in 2025 is Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School (Duc Tho commune) with the participation of many teachers, students of the school and 50 members, collaborators and guests of BoNE Club. Not only bringing valuable books, BoNE Club members also bring stories and useful learning experiences to share with students. From how to conquer difficult subjects, effective reading skills, to secrets to overcome exam pressure, all were enthusiastically conveyed by speakers who are students with many outstanding achievements in studying and training at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted. Also attending the event were 3 former students of Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School, now students of Ha Tinh Specialized High School, sharing about the path to achieving their dream of entering a specialized school, and at the same time sincerely advising the students of the next class about the necessary skills when studying away from home, thereby adding motivation for them to strive in the new school year.

As a former student of Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School, when having the opportunity to return to her beloved school to share her learning experiences with the students of the next class, Nguyen Hanh Chi - class 10 Literature, Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted said: " I am very happy and moved to participate in the 10th "Books are not old" event at my old school. I hope that my sharing will motivate the students of the next class, helping them to confidently step forward and dare to try, dare to dream".

Le Dan Nhi, an 8C student at Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School, said: “I am very happy that the “Books are not old” program was organized at my school. This is a really useful activity. The experience sharing of the seniors in the program has motivated us to study harder and have more specific goals in the future.”

Each book season has received enthusiastic responses from teachers, friends and students, with thousands of books donated and given away. The 10th “Books Never Get Old” program has been carefully planned and prepared in all stages, from calling for support and book donations to organization. After the efforts of all members for nearly 2 months, BoNE Club has donated nearly 2,000 books of all kinds to give to students of Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School, including 75 sets of textbooks, along with hundreds of reference books and reading books of all kinds.

Talking about the organization of the 10th "Books are not old" program, Tran Thuy Hang - class 12 English 2, Head of BoNE Club Gen 10, Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted said: " To successfully organize the 10th "Books are not old" activity, we had a clear and detailed plan from the beginning. 2 months in advance, we gave out tasks to the sub-committees, and also opened an application for collaborators on Facebook, the Club's Fanpage, to receive more support and book donations from you."

The books were carefully classified, packaged, and delivered by young people with all their love and many messages to the students of Hoang Xuan Han Secondary School. Each book given not only contains knowledge, but also contributes to nurturing the dreams and aspirations of the students.

Books are the treasure trove of human knowledge, each page of the book will bring many different opportunities, opening the gates of intelligence and soul. The event "10 Never Old Books" is not only a milestone to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the development of BoNE Club, but also a special occasion for the Club members to share with students a better understanding of learning methods as well as how to overcome difficulties in the journey to conquer the pinnacle of knowledge.
