Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee congratulates Vu Lan Festival 2025

On September 5, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, led by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, visited, presented gifts and congratulated a number of religious establishments in the province on the occasion of Vu Lan Festival of filial piety in 2025, Buddhist calendar 2569.

At Pho Mon Pagoda (Vinh Hung Ward), Da Pagoda (Vinh Loc Ward), Dai Tue Pagoda and Vinh Phuc Pagoda (Dai Hue Commune), on behalf of the working delegation, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee congratulated the monks, nuns and Buddhists to welcome the Vu Lan season in peace, joy and happiness.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung also acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of pagodas, monks and nuns and Buddhists in the past time, always accompanying the development of the homeland and the country; actively participating in many patriotic emulation movements, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc and charitable and social security activities.

Pagodas, monks, nuns and Buddhists also actively promote and spread the cultural values of compassion, joy, forgiveness, salvation, kindness, tolerance, humanity and benevolence in Buddhist teachings to all classes of people, contributing to building a more civilized and better society, where each person lives more responsibly towards the community; at the same time contributing to preserving and promoting traditional Buddhist cultural values, building an advanced Vietnamese culture with a strong national identity.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Dinh Hung also expressed his hope that pagodas, monks, nuns and Buddhists would continue to promote the values and role of Buddhism, accompanying the nation, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements and implementing well the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, contributing to building Nghe An to develop rapidly and sustainably.
