With the wonderful color palette of nature in every subtle shade of golden yellow in the sunlight at Ta Pa, An Giang has created a very peaceful picture in these mid-December days.
Located at the foot of Ta Pa and Co To mountains, about 1km from Tri Ton town, Ta Pa field is a beautiful and proud landscape of An Giang, considered the only terraced fields in the Mekong Delta. This place has received many compliments, but perhaps the ethereal tranquility in the morning light, or the poetic sunsets, must be felt directly by touch to appreciate the peaceful moments.
Take a closer look, approaching the golden rice fields blending with the honey-like sunlight, to clearly feel the simplicity and honesty of the local people with their unique and interesting custom of "working in the fields". Farmers gather together to plow and cultivate in each area, from one field to another.
During the harvest season, the entire field becomes a picture decorated with poetic ranges of colors. Some areas will be a boundless green that attracts the eye, some will be a light yellow color blending with the setting sun, some will be the deep yellow color of heavy rice grains waiting to be harvested.
There are also patches of dark brown rice stalks with bare stubble, all blending together to create a romantic and vibrant picture.
The autumn picture appears with the romantic scene of a brilliant sunset through the talented lens of photographer Cao Ky Nhan.
Ta Pa field is considered the most unique field in the Mekong Delta, thanks to the Khmer people's custom of "working hard in the fields". Late November and early December every year is the ideal time for tourists to experience and explore the beautiful scenery here.
In the fields, there are farmers coming home from work. The people appear so beautiful, so precious, the farmers diligently make the pure white rice grains, working hard every day to make their faces the earth and their backs the sky, but they are always optimistic, loving life, always full of vitality. The rustic features of those farmers with muddy hands and feet add beauty and vitality to the countryside picture.
On the mountain is also Ta Pa Pagoda, one of the popular tourist attractions when coming to this land. The Khmer Buddhist temple is located near the top of the mountain, offering a peaceful atmosphere and panoramic views of the rice fields below.
