General Department of Politics inspects at Coast Guard Region 2 Command

(NLDO) - The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army inspected Party and political activities at the Command of Coast Guard Region 2.

On the morning of June 17, inspection team No. 2 of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) inspected and grasped the situation of Party and political activities at the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 (based in Quang Nam province).

Major General Tran Hai Tuan, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, delivered a speech concluding the inspection at the Command of Coast Guard Region 2.

Major General Tran Hai Tuan, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army), Deputy Head of the inspection team chaired the inspection. The inspection team included leaders of a number of functional agencies of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam Coast Guard.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee and Command of Coast Guard Region 2 have thoroughly grasped, studied, and seriously implemented directives, resolutions, conclusions, regulations, programs, and plans of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , the General Department of Politics, the Party Committee, and the Command of the Vietnam Coast Guard; strictly maintained the combat readiness system, grasped the situation, proactively advised, proposed, and effectively handled situations, and avoided being surprised.

Colonel Le Huy, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, reported on the results of the unit's Party and political activities.

Regularly do a good job of politicaleducation and ideological leadership; effectively implement Directive 2423-CT/QUTW dated November 9, 2023 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee "On innovation and improving the quality of political education in the new period" and the Project "Innovation of political education work at the unit in the new period". Thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Regulations on ideological work management; flexibly and creatively apply ideological situations arising in the unit.

The Regional Party Committee led and directed the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels in the Regional Party Committee; well prepared for the organization of the 5th Regional Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Effectively implemented the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen", the mass mobilization work "Coast Guard with ethnic and religious compatriots" in the Central provinces and cities, with a total implementation amount of more than 1 billion VND...

Major General Tran Hai Tuan inspected the system of Party and political work records at Squadron 21 (Coast Guard Region 2).

After the on-site inspection, listening to the reports of the unit's leaders, commanders and members of the inspection team, Major General Tran Hai Tuan acknowledged and commended the achievements and results of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command in the past time.

Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of 2025, the inspection team requested the Party Committee and Command of Coast Guard Region 2 to proactively grasp, forecast, and correctly assess the situation, promptly advise and propose policies and measures to promptly, flexibly, skillfully, persistently, and resolutely handle situations at sea; develop and complete post-merger documents in accordance with the situation of the unit and locality; organize practice to master the combat readiness plans, and avoid being surprised.

Members of the working delegation inspected the system of Party and political work records at the headquarters of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command.

Actively innovate the content and form, improve the quality of political education, mission education, legal education and propaganda, and traditional education; promptly inform and orient the ideology and public opinion of cadres, soldiers and people in the area.

Promote activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, emulation and propaganda activities towards Party congresses at all levels; focus on leading and directing the review and completion of preparations and successful organization of the Regional Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Thoroughly grasp and specify relevant contents in new documents regulating party organizations, political agency organizations; functions and tasks of grassroots party committees, regional defense commands, and border guard commands in the Vietnam People's Army to ensure unity.
