In the first 6 months of the year, closely following the direction of the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security leaders, the National Cyber Security Association (NCA) has vigorously implemented many key tasks such as participating in the development of legal policies, notably the Draft Law on Personal Data Protection, which was approved by the National Assembly and officially took effect from January 1, 2026.
At the same time, the Association is also proactively researching and contributing comments to the Draft Law on Cyber Security 2025, following the direction of merging the Law on Cyber Security 2015 and the Law on Cyber Security 2018, in order to build a unified and comprehensive legal corridor.
In addition, the association also provides policy consultation and criticism, product training and development, external communications, and especially preparations for the Hanoi Convention signing ceremony, all of which are being carried out on schedule.
