Quang Ngai records dozens of cyber fraud cases

(QNgTV)- From February to August 2025, Quang Ngai province recorded 21 reports and denunciations of online fraud, with a total loss of nearly 70 billion VND.

The main scams include: Inviting people to participate in light, high-paying jobs on e-commerce platforms or impersonating companies and businesses to fraudulently recruit jobs; luring financial investments; performing tricks in emotional fraud to appropriate money; impersonating shippers or relatives to request money transfers; fraud through online casinos and virtual stock exchanges;... The tricks of the subjects carrying out scams are increasingly sophisticated.

Authorities recommend that people should be vigilant, not participate in transactions of unknown origin, and always verify information carefully before performing any operations, in order to protect their assets and avoid becoming victims of cyber fraud.
