(QNgTV)- Quang Ngai province has deployed more than 487,000 electronic health records on VNeID, reaching a rate of more than 23% of the total permanent population, ranking 18th out of 34 provinces and cities. This integration helps people manage medical records right on their phones.

Currently, more than 21,500 referrals and nearly 50,000 follow-up appointments have been digitized. This helps patients reduce waiting time and facilitates hospital management.

In August, nearly 187,000 people used the Citizen Identification Card or VNeID application to replace their health insurance cards when seeking medical treatment, reaching a rate of more than 90%. People do not have to bring many types of documents when going to the doctor, and procedures are quicker.

Many large hospitals have implemented payment of hospital fees using QR codes, making payment convenient and transparent. 100% of public health facilities in the province have also applied cashless payment.

In August alone, there were more than 13,800 electronic hospital payments, helping to reduce cash contact, making it safer and more modern for people.
